Two days ago, I used a video of a color guard of the Japanese Navy to show what I wanted the UCLA flag line to look like 40 years ago.  Today, I follow that same unit as they expand on their show. They also begin to get farther from what I wanted, as they changed their flags from blue and gold to pink and white.   Even so, it's a better and more complete performance, despite having a member missing (the drill is written for 16 flags and a captain; there are only 15 flags).  It's also the only one I can find recorded from the front instead of the side.

With no further ado, here it is.


There is an even better performance later in the season, but the guard has changed their uniforms to dress white, which makes them less of a model of what I wanted.  Stay tuned.
